Pediatric Dentists

Dr. Liraz Spear is a board certified pediatric dentist. She completed Columbia University’s School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 1998 and completed advanced pediatric dental training at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. Dr. Spear regularly attends continuing education courses, is on the faculty at Lenox Hill Hospital, and was on staff at Columbia University’s College of Dental Medicine. She also holds a certificate in sedation.

Dr. Spear is dedicated to making each visit comfortable while educating families on diet and preventive oral health habits. She is a Riverdale resident and has a husband and two children.

Dr. Sonia Sondhi is a board-eligible pediatric dentist dedicated to helping children build healthy smiles and positive dental experiences. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with minors in Public Health and Sociology from the University of Florida, followed by a Master of Science degree from the University of South Florida. She then received her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from New York University College of Dentistry and completed her specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at Montefiore Medical Center in New York.

During her residency training, Dr. Sondhi gained extensive experience caring for children of all ages and backgrounds, including those with special healthcare needs and complex medical conditions. She is passionate about creating a warm, supportive environment where children feel comfortable and confident while learning how to care for their smiles. Outside the office, Dr. Sondhi enjoys traveling, exploring national parks, attending live music events, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Dr. Harper earned both her undergraduate and dental degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and completed her pediatric dentistry residency at Jacobi Medical Center. Prior to becoming a pediatric dentist, she worked as a middle school science teacher.

Dr. Harper is passionate about creating a welcoming and positive dental environment. She strives to make each visit fun, educational, and stress-free while helping patients and families build healthy habits that last a lifetime. She believes every child deserves compassionate, individualized care.

Outside the office, Dr. Harper enjoys attending Broadway shows, cheering on the North Carolina Tar Heels men’s basketball team, and exploring new restaurants, especially in search of great sushi.

Dr. Adina Silberman is a general dentist who earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania. She has extensive experience treating patients of all ages and especially enjoys working with children, helping them feel comfortable and at ease during their visits.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Silberman has taught in a dental school setting and remains committed to continuing education and staying current with best practices in patient care. Dr. Silberman is dedicated to making each visit calm, positive, and approachable and to helping children build strong, healthy habits from an early age. She believes in partnering with families to promote good oral health through education and individualized care. A resident of Riverdale, Dr. Silberman is glad to be part of the local community and looks forward to caring for your family.
